For those that have watched Coltin play throughout his young career may be surprised to see him make the jump to the CIS as a Running Back. In his first full season as a Running Back his Senior year, he showed the entire province what he could do. Named a BC AA football All Star in 2014, Coltin led the league (AA and AAA) in rushing with 2,340 yards and 36 touchdowns with a 9.4 yards/carry average. If those stats aren't enough, in one game he rushed for 440 yards and 8 touchdowns! Coltin is a physical runner and delivers punishing blows to defenders when they meet him in the hole. He also has that last gear that he can turn on to run away from defenders in the open field. He has a very similar style to that of current Thunderbirds RB Brandon Deschamps and will look to learn as much as can from Brandon during his final season.
