The second of two NCAA OL transfers in the 2015 class is Jared Caputy who played his freshman season of college football at the University of Puget Sound in Tacoma, Washington. Jared was born and raised in Hawaii and completed his High School football career at Punahou High School in 2013. His team was crowned Hawaii Division 1 State Champions in his Senior season and Jared was named a 2013 All-State Honorable Mention. During his lone season at Puget Sound in 2014, Jared was named an All-Conference OL playing the important Left Tackle position. Jared, like Ben Harrington, will have to redshirt this year due to CIS transfer rules but will be another welcome addition to the Thunderbirds scout team for 2015 and will look to make an impact in 2016.
