NFL Hall of Famer Warren Moon to attend T-Bird Training Camp

(Vancouver) - Former NFL and CFL star Warren Moon will be at UBC Wednesday August 19th. The Hall of Fame quarterback will be on the field at Thunderbird Stadium to work with the T-Bird Football team as they go through the paces at training camp.

Moon spent 5 seasons in the CFL with the Edmonton Eskimos from 1978-83, winning 5 Grey Cups, and being named game MVP twice. Moon then went to star in the NFL for 16 years. The former University of Washington star played for four NFL teams, (Houston, Minnesota, Seattle & Kansas City) and was a nine time Pro Bowler. Moon was inducted into the CFL Hall of Fame in 2001, and NFL Hall of Fame in 2006.

Moon will be on the field Wednesday morning at 9 am, and will be AVAILABLE to the media at 1:30 pm in the BOB HINDMARCH HERITAGE ROOM at Thunderbird Stadium.
